Story Behind the Logo

Grateful for This Truck

The logo is just not made up fiction and this brand is not just a logo. There is a story to be told and all of the chapters have not yet been written. Shout out Natasha Bedingfield, Unwritten (my daughters favorite jam.)

This logo was designed from the heart. It is one of my first, favorite trucks. An '87 Ford Ranger that was 15 years old when I got to drive it. It had a lift, roll bars and rims/tires for off road. You had to 'LOCK THE HUBS IN" as my dad would yell in his distinct Grump tone that was his own. Kids, that means you had to get out of the truck and physically turn the hubs to lock in 4wd, we were out here just pushing buttons.

We restored this beast to a beaut. It still may not have been ready to drop in a Fast and the Furious movie like some other kids rides, but it was always down for a burn ride in the strippins (abandoned coal mines in NEPA) where those whips couldn't go. While I could've wished I had one of those new cars parked in the high school parking lot, I was grateful for this. For every kid with a nicer ride, there was a kid without a ride. And I was friends with both and I am grateful for both.

This logo represents the grit, grind and grace that has provided me with the opportunities I have had to date and will have in the future. In contrast, the box of flowers in the bed represents color and vibrance reminding you to stop and smell them daily to appreciate the beauty and good all around us. Let the positivity, gratitude and light drive out the darkness.

See, it is hard to be down when you're showing gratitude. In your lowest time you are still living someone else's dream. If it's not good, it's not over. Keep going, keep growing, and grind.

The flowers in the bed of the truck also represent our brand's mission of creating unity in community through revitalizing playgrounds an developing gratitude gardens in areas of need. Every purchase helps to build these grounds and gardens.

The first $5,000 profit is earmarked to help in rebuilding the Northgate/St. Stan's playground in the neighborhood I grew up in back in Hazleton, PA and 25% of profit every quarter after that will go to sustaining future projects. Additionally, in order to get these projects funded to be completed faster we will be organizing specific fundraising campaigns by request as part of our additional services.

The inaugural event will be a Pickleball Tourney and Park Party on the site of the Northgate Playground on September 14th. We will host a Pickleball tournament in Northgate and organize vendors and games to raise the remaining funds to build this space out for future generations.

Pursuing my passion - my various passions - and merging them into one meaningful endeavor.

Before entering the cannabis industry, my professional experience was solely within non-profit organizations. My academic background and expertise revolved around wellness and disease prevention and helping others.

Growing up, my family didn't have it all, but my hardworking parents made sure we had everything we needed.

Gratitude.

My father worked multiple jobs to support our family, allowing my mother to stay home and care for my brother and me.

Despite our modest means, we always found ways to give back. Generosity was ingrained in our family - whether through church donations, charitable contributions, or my mother's dedication to volunteering. She tutored students at my school, introduced me to Volunteers of America at a young age, and set a powerful example. Helping others in need was a fundamental value.

After my father's passing, I heard inspiring stories of his discreet acts of kindness - offering time, money, or essentials to those in need, with the condition of anonymity. Known as Grump, he was a tradesman with a rugged exterior but a heart of gold. The true test of character lies in helping those who cannot reciprocate.

My goal in building this brand is not merely financial gain, but to cultivate true wealth. Time. Money is not the end objective; I seek only what is necessary to sustain myself. Time and supporting others are my priorities. The ability to do this along with my daughter and set the same examples for her. The vision is to create a brand that not only gives back to the community but also offers fulfilling careers to individuals who share similar passion and determination. The ability to create a community for people to connect and grow together.
